2009-2010 State Project

This years state theme is "Light The Way To Independence".
This past March, State President Julie Mitchell watched a news clip on Channel 5 on the House of Possibilities in Easton MA that was soon to be opened. This special house will give disabled children and their families a much needed feeling of "independence" in a safe and fun environment. She then met with HOPe founder and HOPe mother, Mrs. Paula Kavolius, in April, and realized how much that HOPe could use the help of MSCAR.
This years state project is to help support programs at HOPe by raising funds towards the purchase of a van needed to get the children to and from HOPe. So far this year, through various fund raising efforts and corporate donations, we have raised nearly $4500 towards this goal.
